Let us tell you that 17 companies had submitted claims to buy teams in the Women’s IPL. In which a total of 5 companies have got success.

The BCCI made this announcement on Wednesday under the leadership of BCCI President Roger Binny in Mumbai. Where the BCCI gave information about the teams participating in the first season. Let’s know about these teams.

1. JSW Group-(Delhi Capitals)

Men’s IPL franchise Delhi Capitals has also bought a team in Women’s IPL. The franchise cost the BCCI Rs 810 crore to buy a team in the Women’s IPL. This franchisee belongs to JSW company. This is the fourth team of the franchise. Prior to this, the company has bought teams in South Africa, International T20 and IPL.

2. Royal Challengers Group-(RCB)

The team on behalf of which Virat Kohli plays in IPL, now that team will also be seen playing Women’s IPL. Royal Challengers Group has bought the Women’s IPL for Rs 901 crore. The home ground of this team is also going to be the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

3. Capri Sports Private Limited-(Lucknow Super Giants)

The Lucknow team is the third team in the Women’s IPL. Which has been bought by Capri Sports Private Limited Company. The company has spent Rs 757 crore to buy the franchise in the Women’s IPL. However, it is the lowest priced franchise in the Weems IPL.

4. Reliance Company-(Mumbai Indians)

Five-time Men’s IPL winning franchise Mumbai Indians will now see a new team playing in the Women’s IPL. The home ground of this team can also be the Wankhede Ground in Mumbai.

The company spent Rs 912.99 crore to buy this team. It is the second most expensive franchise of the Weems IPL.

5. Adani Group-(Pune)

Adani Group has bought the fifth and most expensive IPL franchise of Women’s IPL. For which the franchisee has spent Rs 1289 crore. This franchisee is from Ahmedabad. This is the second team of Adani Group. Prior to this, the company has bought a team in the International T20 League.
