Before this auction, all the IPL franchises have released their list of retained and released players. Shardul Thakur was traded from Delhi

Here we are talking about Kolkata Knight Riders, the franchise owned by Shah Rukh Khan. Who has made a great move before the mini auction of IPL. They have traded their uncapped Indian player Aman Khan along with Delhi Capitals’ capped player Shardul Thakur ahead of the mini auction.

Let us tell you that Aman Khan’s price in the last IPL auction was only 20 lakhs while Shardul Thakur’s price was Rs 10.75 crores. Delhi had included him in the team by bidding Rs 10.75 crore. But Shardul did not perform well. Due to which the team released him.

Shardul Thakur has made Chennai the champion

Shardul Thakur is counted among the veteran and lucky players of IPL. He has been in the IPL champions Chennai Super Kings team in the years 2018 and 2021. Apart from this, he has played for teams like Punjab Kings, Mumbai Indians, Rising Pune Super Giants and Delhi Capitals.

He has so far played 75 matches in his IPL career. In which he has taken 82 wickets and scored 173 runs at a strike rate of 129.1. Now it will be interesting to see how KKR uses them in the upcoming IPL season.
