Maruti Suzuki has given new safety updates to its luxury sedan Ciaz in February. Also, the company has added 3 new dual tone colors to it.
For Maruti Suzuki, the sales of some cars have been decreasing significantly for the last few months. The list of these cars includes models like Ciaz, Jimny and Invicto. Individual sales of these cars have reached less than 1000 units. This has been going on continuously for the last 6 months.
In such a situation, the company is also giving good discounts in this month i.e. September to increase the sales of these cars. The company is offering benefits of up to Rs 45,000 on its premium sedan Ciaz. This includes a cash discount of Rs 20,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000. Let us tell you that in August, 707 units of Ciaz, 592 units of Jimny and 174 units of Invicto were sold.
Features and Specifications of Maruti Ciaz
Maruti Suzuki has given new safety updates to its luxury sedan Ciaz in February. Also, the company has added 3 new dual tone colors to it. Dual tone color options will be Pearl Metallic Opulent Red with Black Roof, Pearl Metallic Grandeur Gray with Black Roof and Dignity Brown with Black Roof. The new variant has been launched in both manual and automatic transmission.
The company has not made any changes in the engine of the new variant of Ciaz. It will get the same old 1.5 liter petrol engine, which generates power of 103bhp and torque of 138Nm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The company claims that its manual version gives a mileage of up to 20.65km/l and the automatic version gives a mileage of up to 20.04 km/l.
Maruti has included more than 20 safety features in Ciaz. Hill-hold assist and Electronic Stability Program (ESP) are now included as standard. That means it will be available in all variants. The car will also have features like dual airbags, rear parking sensor, ISOFIX child seat anchors, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD). The company claims that passengers will be safer in this sedan than before.
