New Delhi. If you yourself are a beneficiary of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, then this news will make you happy. A big update has come regarding the PM Kisan Nidhi Yojana being run by the Central Government to provide financial assistance to the farmers. The government will transfer Rs 2000 to the bank accounts of 9 crore farmers across the country during Navratri. The date of release of the 18th installment of PM Kisan Nidhi has been announced by the government.

Money will be transferred to farmers' accounts on October 5
According to the website of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 18th installment of money for farmers on October 5. Under this scheme, financial assistance of six thousand rupees is given annually by the Central Government to the poor farmers of the country. This money is transferred directly to their bank account through DBT. This installment is given to the farmers in three installments of Rs 2 thousand each.

The scheme was started in 2019
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was started by the government in the year 2019. The money received under the scheme is sent directly to the bank accounts of the farmers. It is necessary for all the beneficiary farmers of PM Kisan to get eKYC done. The money will come into your account only after your identity is confirmed through e-KYC. You can identify yourself online through OTP or by visiting any CSC center through your fingerprint or facial impression.

Those who do not get e-KYC done will face problems
People who do not have e-KYC of PM Kisan may face difficulty in getting the benefits of the scheme. You can complete e-KYC by visiting PM Kisan Portal with the help of OTP through your mobile number and Aadhar card. If this does not happen, then you can also complete e-KYC by visiting the nearest Common Service Center (CSC).

The entire system of PM Kisan Nidhi Yojana is between the government and the farmer. In this, after releasing the fund, the government transfers it directly to the farmer's account through banks. This helps in curbing corruption. Earlier, the 17th installment of the scheme was released by the government in the month of July.

How to do eKYC
> OTP based e-KYC (available on PM-Kisan portal and mobile app)
> Biometric based e-KYC, available at Common Service Center (CSC) and State Service Center (SSK)
> Face authentication based eKYC is available on PM Kisan mobile app which is used by lakhs of farmers.
