The Finance Ministry has conveyed good news to crores of citizens and vehicle owners of India. In fact today, on Thursday, Indian Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced this good news to such vehicle owners and all citizens whose health and auto insurance premiums were to be paid during lock down.
On Thursday, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that, it has been decided to extend the last date for payment of all health and third party motor vehicle insurance premiums in India. Those who were to be renewed between March 25 and April 14 will now be renewed from April 21, 2020.
Finance Minister Sitharaman gave this information through his social media platform Twitter. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman wrote on her Twitter that, keeping in mind the situation of Covid-19, the government has provided relief to health insurance policy holders and third party auto insurance policy holders.
Apart from this, he has also attached the Relevant notice with his post. Actually, the objective of the Finance Minister is to provide relief to such people, who were getting upset to renew their health and auto insurance policy.
The government has given another 7 days exemption for such people to renew the policy after the lockdown ends. That is, these people can fill the payment amount for renewal within 7 days.
For information, let the government not charge a penalty from such people, nor will the government speak to its customers to deposit the premium of the health policy till 21 April. If you also have to file income tax and GST return.
