Madhya Pradesh in AI: During the India AI Impact Summit held in New Delhi, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav put forward a big vision regarding Artificial Intelligence (AI). He clearly said that AI is not just a technology but can become a medium to shape the future of youth, farmers and common people.
How much benefit will our youth and farmers get from AI?
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said at the summit, ‘How much will AI benefit our youth and people, how can we take them forward? Our contribution to the country is huge, so from a future perspective, what benefits can our farmers get from AI for their crop production? Madhya Pradesh is playing a big role in the AI Summit being held under the leadership of the Prime Minister to explore the possibilities of growth in every sector.
He clarified that Madhya Pradesh plays a big role in the development journey of the country, hence strengthening agricultural production, skills of youth and employment opportunities through AI is a priority.
AI startups get a chance to work with the government
The Chief Minister further said, ‘Our government is also working to provide opportunities for AI startups to work with the government. I am hopeful that as we see Madhya Pradesh aligning with the national goals, we will move forward with greater use of AI for new technology. With this hope, on behalf of the Government of Madhya Pradesh, I am eager to explore the potential of these sectors, especially in the areas of health, education, agriculture, industry and tourism as well as energy conservation. We have signed MoUs with many companies to explore these possibilities. We have also invited many companies, and in future Madhya Pradesh will play a big role in this entire sector.”

The government is working on connecting AI startups with governance and development projects. Agreements have been signed with many companies to explore new possibilities in areas such as health, education, industry, tourism and energy conservation.
AI expansion from school to college
A big change can also be seen in the field of education. The Chief Minister said, ‘Through NEP 2020, we are free to make many innovations in both school education and college education, and we are moving forward in this. The buildings of our Sandipani Vidyalaya are made in such a way that they can accommodate many types of innovations, and how AI can be used to develop talent in school education We are going to use AI in every field.”
Under the New Education Policy 2020, innovation is being promoted in schools and colleges. Sandipani schools have been designed to implement AI based learning and talent development.
What signal to the general public?
If AI is used properly, crop production capacity of farmers will increase, youth will get employment in new technology and government services will become more transparent and faster. Madhya Pradesh is preparing itself for the future economy by implementing AI in every sector.
