Union Minister Jeetendra Singh said that the Department of Personnel and Training is constantly trying to make the promotion process easier and faster. But due to the lawsuits filed from time to time, there are obstacles in this process.
According to sources, Union Minister Jitendra Singh said during the delegation meeting of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh that the government is promoting honest and good performing officers. He said that honesty and performance are being seen above all things. He said that several steps have been taken to create a better working environment so that the officers can perform to the best of their ability.
Unnecessary lawsuits are having an impact on the promotion process. The minister said that he himself is meeting several employee groups
pleading for their cooperation so that these discrepancies can be removed. For this, he also referred to Mission Karmayogi which was passed in the cabinet meeting chaired by PM Modi.
According to the information, a separate memorandum was also presented before Union Minister Jitendra Singh in which the current issues were prominently kept. This memorandum also mentioned the promotion of officers in the Survey of India,
where the appointment of vacant posts of Superintendent Surveyors and Group A and Group B officers was said. Union Minister Jitendra Singh assured the delegation that he would look into all these issues separately
would take steps soon, he assured to hold more meetings on this.
Earlier on 6 January, Union Minister Jitendra Singh also spoke to the officials of Punjab Civil Services,
in which the officials appealed to expedite their induction cases in the Indian Administrative Services. He said that earlier this process was very slow but in the last 6 years it has improved a lot with the help of modern technology, contacts departments of various ministries,
