Patna, June 9. Famous teacher and founder of Khan Global Studies (KGS), Khan sir has got a big relief in the Patna firing case. Patna Civil Court has currently stayed the arrest in the case registered against him. A case was registered against Khan sir over the alleged firing incident that took place outside his coaching institute on June 2. According to the information, an anticipatory bail petition was filed in the court on Monday on behalf of Khan sir. After hearing the petition, the court ordered an interim stay on his arrest. An FIR has been registered against Khan sir under the Arms Act and other sections in Kadamkuan police station area of Patna.
- Difficulties increased after viral video
This matter came into limelight after a viral video in which two security guards of Khan sir’s coaching institute were allegedly seen opening fire. After the video spread rapidly on social media, the police detained and arrested both the guards. During the police investigation, the security guards claimed that they had fired in self-defense. On this basis, the scope of investigation was expanded and Khan sir was also made an accused in the case.
- There was a dispute after vandalism and fighting
It is being told that on the night of June 2, some people had created a ruckus outside Khan sir’s coaching center. During this, posters were torn, vandalized and security personnel were also beaten up. Initially, Khan sir had claimed that there was firing, but later he retracted his statement and said that the truth of the matter will become clear only after investigation. After the incident, the police was continuously searching for Khan sir. Amidst the fear of arrest, he approached the court and sought anticipatory bail.

Meanwhile, the hearing on the regular bail plea of Roshan Anand, the director of Gyan Bindu Coaching Institute, who was arrested in the same case, has also been completed. The court has reserved its decision. Police arrested Roshan Anand after the incident of firing and dispute.
