Birsa Munda's great grandson dies in RIMS: He was undergoing treatment in Trauma Center after being injured in a road accident in Khunti.

Ranchi: The great grandson of Dharti Aaba Bhagwan Birsa Munda passed away at RIMS late on Thursday night. Mangal Munda is undergoing treatment at the Trauma Center after being seriously injured in a road accident in Khunti. Mangal Munda's death was informed by his son. His last rites will be performed on Friday.

After getting injured in a road accident in Khunti on 25th November, Mangal Munda was operated on 26th by a team of doctors under the leadership of Dr. Anand Prakash, HOD of Neurosurgeon Department at RIMS. The operation had become quite complicated due to serious brain injury, the team of doctors operated on him for four hours. The clot was removed from the brain but there was no much benefit in the situation, he was put on ventilator. Chief Minister Hemant Soren had gone to RIMS on November 27 to inquire about the condition of Mangal Munda from the team of doctors and had directed to ensure better treatment.
