49 container bombs recovered from Naxalites hideout

Aurangabad. As part of an anti-Naxal operation in Bihar’s Naxalites-affected Aurangabad district, police and central security forces today recovered 49 container bombs, 110 meters of cordex wire, 11 detonators, a pressure mechanism, a bridge from a forest near Chhakkarbandha village under Madanpur police station area. Mechanism, 17 batteries and Naxalite literature have been recovered.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Nav Vaibhav said here on Tuesday that the police had received information that Naxalites were preparing for a major attack on the police. On the basis of this information, Aurangabad Police, under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Swapna G. Meshram and under the leadership of Additional Superintendent of Police (Operations) Mukesh Kumar, along with CRPF, CoBRA and other armed forces, conducted an intensive raid operation in Chakrabandha area of ​​Madanpur block.

Mr. Vaibhav told that a huge quantity of explosives were recovered in this raid operation. It was mobilized to attack the police force.

He said that an FIR has been registered in this matter and intensive raid operation is going on in the surrounding areas.
