Heartbroken Samantha wrote, “Until we meet again dad” with a broken heart emoji on Instagram Stories. More details regarding the reason behind his demise are awaited. In a recent interview, Samantha talked about her relationship with her father Joseph. She spoke openly about her strained relationship with her father. Samantha recalled a time when her father felt she was 'not smart and good enough'.
“Growing up, I struggled for recognition my whole life,” she told Galata. My father was like this… I think most Indian parents are like this, so you too can get first rank. When you say that to a kid, I really believed for a long time that I wasn't smart and wasn't good enough.” During a conversation with Karan Johar, Samantha talked about starting her acting career early because her family did not have enough money. He shared, “I really had no choice because things were tough at home. We didn't have much money for further studies, but I am really happy. When my father said, 'No, I can't repay you,' it changed my life.”
