Cambodia King Visit India: almost 60 years later cambodia king of norodom sihamoni Coming to India on a three-day tour (May 29-31). His father came to India six decades ago. India is all set to welcome Sihamoni by rolling out the red carpet. King Sihamoni of Cambodia will come to Delhi on 29 May. India and Cambodia are completing 70 years of diplomatic relations.
He is visiting India on this special occasion. Diplomatic relations were established between the two countries (India-Cambodia) in 1952. During the visit to India, there will be a high level delegation along with King Sihamoni of Cambodia. According to the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, a total of 27 officials including the Minister of the Royal Palace, the Foreign Minister will be included in this delegation.

State banquet in honor of the king on 30 May
He will be given a grand welcome at Rashtrapati Bhavan on May 30. After this, he will go to Rajghat and pay floral tribute to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. President Draupadi Murmu will host a state banquet in the evening in honor of the king. During his visit, King Sihamoni of Cambodia will also hold bilateral meetings with President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Sihamoni’s father came to India in 1963
Apart from this, he will also meet Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Foreign Minister S Jaishankar. About six decades ago, in 1963, Norodom Sihamoni’s father had visited India. Regarding Sihamoni’s visit to India, the Ministry of External Affairs has said that his visit will further strengthen the relations between India and Cambodia.
These issues will be discussed
70 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries are being completed. This visit of Sihamoni is very special in order to further deepen this relationship between the two countries. During this, bilateral and multilateral issues will be discussed between the two countries.
