Hamirpur. A car caught fire after a speeding truck collided with it on the Bundelkhand Expressway in Hamirpur district, in which three people in the car were burnt alive. Police officers reached the spot as soon as they got information about the accident. On Thursday, the police has started the process of conducting the post-mortem of the dead bodies. As soon as the information about the accident came, there was chaos among the family members. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives in the accident.

A horrific road accident took place late on Wednesday night on the Bundelkhand Expressway near Italia Baja village under Jariya police station area of ​​Hamirpur district. It is said that three people of Jalaun district had gone to Prayagraj in Hyundai car number UP-32 CV-3425. All three were returning late at night. As soon as the car reached the Bundelkhand Expressway near Italia Baja village, a speeding truck hit it. The car caught fire as soon as the collision occurred, due to which all the three people in the car were burnt alive. On getting information about the accident, SDM Khalij Anjum, CO and Jaria in-charge reached the spot along with the police force. The fire engine also extinguished the fire after reaching the spot.

Superintendent of Police Shubham Patel told here today that the deceased include Rakesh (53) son of Rampratap, Jitendra (35) son of Asharam and Chaman Dubey Muhal Jalaun resident Sharif (50) son of Babu Khan, resident of Gasihari village under Madhogarh police station area of ​​Jalaun. Told that during the investigation, the Hyundai car was moving in the opposite direction, then the car caught fire due to a strong collision between the tanker and the silencer of the truck. SP said that truck number RJ-07 GB-1796 has been taken into possession. This truck belongs to Bikaner, Rajasthan.

Bike rider Rishikesh (28) and Amit, residents of Singrauli in Tezzbuzz, died in a collision with a vehicle on the Bundelkhand Expressway. Both were returning after shopping from Delhi. Last month also four people died on this expressway.
