New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education has started the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2024 registration process. The CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2024 and Single Girl Child Scholarship 2023 (renewal) application link is available on the official website of the board, cbse.gov.in.
The last date to fill out the scholarship application form is December 23. Eligible students will get Rs 500 per month as per the scholarship scheme.
Points to keep in mind while applying
- Applicants need to include their bank details, such as the name of the bank, account number, RTGS, NEFT, IFSC code, and bank address.
- Applicants must sign the application, as unsigned applications will get rejected.
- Upload an attested copy of the Class 11 mark sheet, a copy of Aadhaar (linked to the bank account), and a copy of the bank passbook or a cancelled cheque.
CBSE Single Child Scholarship 2024: Eligibility requirement
Those who fulfil the below requirements can apply for the CBSE Single Child Scholarship 2024-
- The Single Girl Child Scholarship 2024 is for single girl children who have passed Class 10 in the year 2024 from the CBSE board and are currently in Class 11 in the CBSE-affiliated schools.
- The Single Girl Child Scholarship 2023 (renewal 2024) scheme is to renewal the application of students who were awarded the scholarship in the year 2023.
- Only meritorious single girl students who are the only children of their parents are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must have scored 60 per cent or more marks in the Class 10 exam.
- Those who are currently studying in Class 11 or Class 12 in the CBSE-affiliated schools can apply.
- The tuition fee of the school should not exceed Rs 1,500 per month during the academic year.
- A maximum 10 per cent annual increase in the tuition fees is permitted for the subsequent two years.
- Only Indian nationals can apply for the scholarship.
- Non-residential Indian (NRI) applicants with a tuition fee cap of Rs 6,000 per month can apply.
