Vasu Bhagnani accused Netflix of fraud

Bollywood film producer Vashu Bhagnani has accused Netflix India of fraud of Rs 47.37 crore. The head of Vashu's Pooja Entertainment company has claimed that Netflix India has defrauded him of Rs 47 crore.

Netflix has bought the rights of Vashu's films 'Hero No. 1', 'Mission Raniganj' and 'Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan' which were released a few days ago. However, Vashu has claimed that he did not receive the money after purchasing the rights. Hence, Vashu has filed a complaint against Los Gatos Production Services India. It is also learned that the Economic Offenses Wing has also issued summons to the production house EOW. After Vashu's allegations, Netflix has given clarification on this.

According to the report, Netflix has responded to these allegations. This OTT company has claimed that Pooja Entertainment owes money to Netflix. Also, the OTT company has said in its statement that all the claims made by Pooja Entertainment are false. These claims are completely false. Actually Pooja Entertainment owes money to Netflix. Netflix said, we have a strong track record of partnering with the creative community in India and we are working with the authorities to resolve this dispute.

Meanwhile, there has been a dispute between Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani and Ali Abbas Zafar regarding the film 'Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan'. Bhagnani has alleged that Ali defrauded him of Rs 9.50 crore in Abu Dhabi, while Ali says that he did not receive Rs 7.30 crore for directing the film. Bhagnani has also filed a complaint in this regard.
