In this board meeting, the proposal to increase the toll rate on Yamuna Expressway has been approved. After this, new rates will be implemented from October 1. About 35 thousand vehicles pass through Yamuna Expressway every day.

What is the latest rate of toll tax?
According to the information, in the new increased rates, Rs 247.50 will be charged from two-wheelers, three-wheelers and registered tractors. At the same time, Rs 486.75 will be charged from cars, jeeps, vans and light vehicles and Rs 1,542.75 will be charged from buses and trucks.

Traveling from Delhi to Agra, Mathura becomes expensive
Yamuna Expressway connects NCR directly to Mathura, Agra and further to Lucknow Expressway. There is a lot of pressure from vehicles on it. There are three tolls on this 165 km long expressway, which are in Noida, Jewar, Mathura and Agra.

How expensive is the journey from Noida to Agra?
After the implementation of new toll rates on Yamuna Expressway, the toll amount for traveling by car from Greater Noida to Agra will increase from Rs 270 to Rs 295. Similarly, for buses this amount will increase from Rs 895 to Rs 935. At the same time, toll for oversized vehicles will increase from Rs 1760 to Rs 1835.

New rates will be applicable from October 1
Yamuna Authority CEO Arunveer Singh said that for the last two years, there was a continuous demand from the toll administration to increase the rates. But, every time the proposal was rejected in the board meeting. This time again a letter was sent to put this proposal in the board meeting. This time the proposal has been approved. The increased rates will be applicable from October 1.
