  • Paneer – 1/2 cup
  • Washed Moong Dal – 1/2 cup
  • Asafoetida – 1/4 tsp
  • Green Coriander – 1/4 cup
  • Green chilli – 4
  • Chaat masala – 1/2 tsp
  • oil/butter
  • Salt – as per taste

Method

  • First of all, soak the washed moong dal overnight. Now take cheese and grate it well.
  • After this, chop green chillies and coriander finely. Now grind the soaked lentils in a mixer grinder.
  • Before grinding, add ginger, green chilli, salt and half a cup of water.
  • Now take out the lentil paste in a vessel. – After this add asafoetida and mix well.
  • Now take a separate vessel and prepare the stuffing by adding grated cheese, finely chopped green chillies, green coriander, salt and chaat masala.
  • Now put moong dal paste in the middle of the pan and spread it in a round shape.
  • When the chilli is cooked from the bottom side, turn it over and spread oil around the chilli with the help of a spoon.
  • Similarly, fry the chillies well from both the sides. – When the cheela is cooked, turn off the gas.
  • After this, take out the chillies in a plate. Add 2 spoons of cheese stuffing and spread it.
  • Now fold the chilli from the middle. In this way tasty Paneer Cheela is ready. Serve it with sauce or chutney.
