In the second Test match being played between India and New Zealand in Pune, Kiwi team captain Tom Latham won the toss and chose to bat first.
New Zealand made one change in the playing eleven and replaced injured Matt Henry with Mitchell Santner.
Under the second test match, captain Rohit Sharma has made three changes from batting to bowling.
Fast bowler Mohammad Siraj, who performed poorly in the first Test match, has been out and young bowler Akash Deep has got a chance in his place.
Powerful batsman KL Rahul has also been ruled out of the second Test match and in his place Shubman Gill has returned, who did not play in the first match due to injury.
Chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav has also been dropped from the third Test match and Washington Sundar has got a chance in his place.
Earlier it was being said that injured Rishabh Pant might be out, but this has not happened, he is playing in the second test match also.
It is believed that after the return of Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli can play only at number four, although there will have to be a change in the order of Sarfaraz Khan.
India had to face a crushing defeat by 8 wickets against New Zealand in the first Test match played in Bengaluru.
Now it is going to be a do or die battle for India in the second test match, where to avoid defeat in the series, the second match will have to be won after losing.
