New Delhi: Indian women’s cricket team’s leading opener Smriti Mandhana and renowned musician Palash Muchhal’s relationship has attracted a lot of attention in recent months. The news of their engagement and marriage had created a stir on social media.

Wedding excitement and sudden interruption
They were going to get married on 23 November in Sangli, Maharashtra. The cards had also been printed and the guest list was ready. Fans were eagerly waiting for this beautiful union of cricket and Bollywood.
However, early in the morning on the wedding day, news came that Smriti’s father Srinivasan Mandhana suddenly fell ill. He was immediately taken to the hospital, due to which the wedding had to be postponed indefinitely.
