New Delhi: Kiran Kumar Reddy, the last chief minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh, today resigned from the Congress party.
Congress party In a letter to the president, he wrote, “Please accept this letter as my resignation from the primary membership of the Indian National Congress.”
Reddy had resigned from the Congress in 2014 following the UPA government’s decision to bifurcate the state into a separate Telangana. He formed his own political party ‘Jai Samaikya Andhra Paksha’ and in 2014 Lok Sabha Elections fought . Reddy joined the Congress in 2018, failing to see any electoral returns in the next four years. Now he has resigned from that too and shocks Kai.
