New Delhi. The number of active cases of corona has remained 1842 across the country and the death toll has increased to 530740 due to the death of another patient due to this epidemic. The death rate remains at 1.19 percent.
The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Sunday that till 7 am, more than 220.40 crore vaccines have been given. In the last 24 hours, 2,34,394 vaccines have been administered.
The ministry said that the active cases of corona in the country have reduced to 1,842 and 108 patients have been cured in the same period, due to which the total number of people who got rid of this epidemic has increased to 4,41,50,057. The recovery rate has reached 98.81 percent.
Corona active cases have increased in six states in the country in the last 24 hours and their number has decreased in the remaining states and union territories.
With the increase of 16 active cases during the last 24 hours in Karnataka, their total number has increased to 181. The number of people who have recovered from this epidemic in the state has increased to 40,32,371 and the death toll is stable at 40,309.
With the increase of two active cases in the national capital, their total number has increased to 13. So far 19,80,836 people have become healthy from this epidemic and 26,522 patients have died so far.
With the increase of three active cases in Kerala in the last 24 hours, their total number has increased to 1,184, while the total number of people who got rid of it has increased to 67,56,874 and the death toll remains at 71,574.
Apart from this, with the reduction of one active case of corona in Maharashtra, their total number has come down to 80. During this period, after the recovery of 18 people, the total number of people who got rid of it has increased to 79,88,619 and the death toll in the state remains at 1,48,421.
With the decrease of one active case of corona in Gujarat, their total number has come down to 12. The total number of people who got rid of this epidemic has increased to 12,66,590 and the death toll has increased to 11,046 due to the death of one more patient in the state.
