‘Could have killed me’, Sukhendu Shekhar lashed out at Mamata Banerjee after leaving TMC
After the defeat in the West Bengal Assembly elections, Mamata Banerjee is facing continuous setbacks. After the MLAs, TMC MPs have also rebelled. Rajya Sabha MP Sukhendu Share Roy, who was once close to Mamata Banerjee, has resigned from TMC. He not only resigned from the party but also raised many questions on the party. He now said that he wanted to leave the party after the RG Kar rape case. He claimed that if he had left the party at the time of the RG Kar Medical College case, he could have been murdered by a contract killer.
Sukhendu Shekhar Roy further said, ‘When the RG tax incident happened, people came out on the streets. I had never seen anything like this in my political career, and I raised my voice about it. I said that all the people involved should be hanged, I also did a tweet and participated in the protest. Then I was also summoned for my tweet.

Sukhendu Shekhar Roy did not stop here, he raised questions on the 15 years of Mamata Banerjee’s rule. He said that for the first time, the public has given a huge mandate to BJP, ending the 15-year chaotic rule of TMC. He further said that this regime had flourished due to widespread corruption, atrocities against women, gross failures in sectors like health, education, industry, law and order, employment etc.
