Update on inspection
There are still some damp patches on the outfield. The sun hasn’t come out today even though there’s been no rain.

Update on next inspection
“UPDATE: Next inspection to take place at 12 PM IST,” has been posted by BCCI on X. The umpires look unhappy with some of the patches on the field and as a result, another session has been lost.

Inspection Time!
The umpires have came out to the field for the official inspection. Accompanying the umpires is the head groundsman.

Main covers taken off
The main covers have been taken off. The carpet which covered the pitch is also taken off and the groundsmen are trying to dry the outfield with sponge and sand.
