Dehradun: CM Dhami reviewed the law and order situation in the state, Chief Secretary and Director General of Police and other high officials were present.
On Sunday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while reviewing in-depth with the high officials of the government on various subjects related to law and order, encroachment, disaster etc. in the secretariat, received information about the action and efforts being taken by the district magistrates.
Chief Minister Dhami said that any incident related to law and order, whether in the revenue sector or in the police sector, whoever receives any information, should take it seriously and ensure prompt action for its solution.
Encroachment for hotels, resorts or religious works in forest or other areas in the state should be marked and action should be taken strictly on it and along with verification of madrasas of the state, strict action should be taken in cases of demographic change. .
After preparing a calendar of all the points related at the district level, review them fortnightly or monthly and report should be made available to the government. The image of the state has been tarnished by some recent incidents, so that such incidents should not be repeated, officers should work in this direction with caution and responsibility. He said that Devbhoomi is our state, here peace, peace and tranquility are the responsibility of all of us. Whoever the culprit is, he should not be spared.
Don’t harass those who work honestly. It should also be ensured that there is no problem due to population density. After getting information about the condition of the roads, Chief Minister Dhami also directed to make the roads pothole-free by October 15. He directed for effective control of illegal liquor, illegal mining.
Chief Secretary Dr. SS Sandhu instructed all the district magistrates to ensure compliance of the instructions given by the Chief Minister. He said that the officers should identify right and wrong and take action to punish the guilty.
Additional Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, Director General of Police Ashok Kumar, Special Principal Secretary Abhinav Kumar, Secretary Shailesh Bagoli, Sachin Kurve, Chandresh Yadav, Additional Secretary Atar Singh and senior officers and virtually all the Divisional Commissioners and District Magistrates were present in the meeting.
