Delhi conference will bring together 100 countries
India’s Ambassador Vinay Kwatra, while addressing US officials and technology leaders in Washington recently, highlighted the importance of the AI Impact conference in Delhi. This conference is a major step from India towards building an international consensus on responsible AI.
Ambassador Kwatra said that this summit will be based on three main principles, man, nature and progress. India aims to ensure that AI-driven growth is for all and does not lead to increased inequality in the world. For this, governments and experts from 100 countries are being called on one platform.
Importance of India-US cooperation
In this event organized in Washington, US Deputy Secretary of Economic Affairs Jacob Helberg stressed on further strengthening India-US cooperation in AI policy making. Helberg said America is the world’s largest economy and India is the most populous country and together they can “achieve unlimited things.” He described India and America as natural partners in securing and developing the AI economy. The democratic values of both the countries pave the way for joint efforts in new technologies.
Big opportunity for American companies
Ambassador Kwatra told American industrialists that this meeting in Delhi provides a strong opportunity for cooperation. He said that for American companies, this summit is an important opportunity to work together with India’s unmatched scale, talent and innovation ecosystem.
