New Delhi: Delhi The server of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is down for the last 9 hours. According to the information, the server of AIIMS has been hacked. Cybercrime and concerned departments have been informed in this regard.

Fear of leaking confidential information

Highly sensitive data related to health records of the President, Prime Minister, former Prime Ministers and other ministers are stored in AIIMS servers. There is a possibility of leakage of confidential information in this regard. However, it has not been officially confirmed yet. The functioning of the hospital is also getting affected due to server hack.

OPD cards of new patients could not be made

OPD cards for new patients could not be generated due to server being down in AIIMS since morning. Only a few elderly patients with UHID numbers were seen. Due to non-preparation of documents, there was difficulty in admitting patients. Most of the services stopped.

A complaint has been given to the Cyber ​​Cell of Delhi Police regarding the detection of server hacking by AIIMS. AIIMS server is run by National Informatics Center (NIC). NIC is also trying to ascertain whether the server is down or hacked.
