In the 33rd match of IPL 2021 being played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Delhi Capitals bowled brilliantly and restricted Sunrisers Hyderabad to 134 runs. Abdul Samad scored the highest 28 runs for Hyderabad. On the other hand, Kagiso Rabada took three wickets for Delhi Capitals. Apart from this, Enrique Nortje and Axar Patel took two wickets each.
Earlier, Hyderabad captain Kane Williamson won the toss and decided to bat first. But his decision proved to be wrong. In the very first over, David Warner was dismissed without opening the account. Hyderabad lost their four wickets in the form of David Warner (0), Wriddhiman Saha (18), captain Kane Williamson (18), and Manish Pandey (17).
Shortly after this, Kedar Jadhav (03) was dismissed after scoring a run, and then Axar Patel sent Jason Holder (10) to the pavilion. Abdul Samad again took the innings and played some shots but he too was dismissed as the seventh batsman. Samad scored 28 runs in 21 balls with the help of two fours and a six.
After this Rashid Khan scored 22 runs in 19 balls with the help of two fours and a six, while Sandeep Sharma was run out without opening the account. On the other hand, Bhuvneshwar Kumar remained unbeaten on three balls with the help of a four.
Kagiso Rabada took the highest three wickets for 37 runs for Delhi Capitals. Apart from this, Enrique Nortje took two wickets for 12 runs and Axar Patel took two wickets for 21 runs.
