Delhi Excise Policy: ED filed chargesheet against 38 accused including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal

Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate has filed a chargesheet against 38 accused in the excise scam. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been named as the 37th accused in the chargesheet. In the 232 page chargesheet, Arvind Kejriwal has been accused of colluding with liquor traders and getting the policy made in their favour and then passing it on to party leaders.

ED has stated in its chargesheet that the motive behind making the new excise policy was to benefit the South lobby by taking bribes. Referring to the role of Vijay Nair on the basis of investigation, it has been written in the chargesheet that Vijay Nair did not hold any post in the party, but he was only a middleman, liaisoner or broker for AAP leaders, especially Arvind Kejriwal.
