Delhi lockdown updates: delhi reports 23 new cases and 24 deaths in 24 hours


Delhi Coronavirus Update: In the capital of the country, the speed of Corona is continuously being braked . Now the positivity rate in Delhi has reached far below 1 percent. On Friday, 238 new cases of corona were reported in the national capital and 24 people have also died during this period. It is to be known that after April 8, this is the lowest figure of deaths due to corona in 1 day. The active cases of corona in Delhi have now come down to 4 thousand. There are currently 3922 active patients in Delhi.

Now the total number of infected people in Delhi has increased to 14,30,671 and so far 24,772 people have lost their lives. At present, the positivity rate in the capital has come down to 0.31%. 


The positivity rate in Delhi is the lowest in 3 months. Earlier on March 7, the lowest figure was. So far 14,01,977 patients have been cured after treatment in the capital.

Let us tell you that after the decreasing cases of corona in Delhi, Unlock has been started from last Monday. Markets and malls have been opened on the basis of odd-even arrangement in the national capital after being closed for more than one and a half months in the wake of second dreadful wave of COVID-19 pandemic. It is expected that some more reliefs will also be announced from June 14.

According to the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), the current lockdown implemented from April 19 has been extended for one more week (June 14). Malls, markets and market complexes (except weekly markets) will open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Monday, depending on the number of shops, on the basis of odd-even arrangement.
