Whenever they go out, children insist on eating patties after seeing them, but consuming market patties can be harmful for health. So in this case you can make patties at home. It is very easy to make. Today we will tell about the method of making Potato Patties, so let us know about it….
Ingredients for making Potato Patties:
2 cups flour
2 tbsp ghee
quarter teaspoon baking powder
half teaspoon salt
One to one and a half cup of water for mixing the dough
oil for frying
Potatoes and peas for stuffing
Salt as needed
1 tsp red pepper
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp ground coriander
1/2 tsp dried mango powder
2 green chillies
Coriander leaves to garnish.
Method of making Potato Patties:
After sifting flour, mix baking powder, ghee, salt and water in it and make a thin dough like roti. Keep it for 15-20 minutes. Boil the potatoes, peel them and mash them. Boil the peas, mash them and add them to the potatoes. Add salt, red chillies, dried mango powder as per taste. The stuffing for the patties is ready.
To make patties, make balls of the prepared dough and roll them on a rolling board with a little flour. Apply a spoonful of ghee over it and cut it lengthwise. Now apply a spoonful of ghee on it and cut it lengthwise. Now cut 3-4 pieces of it and apply them one above the other. Do this 7 times.
Place potato-pea masala in between the third and fourth layer and press it lightly from all sides. Similarly prepare other patties. Then fry them or bake them with butter and serve the prepared patties with green chutney and tamarind chutney.
