Diesel-petrol theft gang busted in Bilhaur… Big success achieved in joint action of Crime Branch and local police

Bilhaur, Kanpur. After the action against oil theft in Panki, the gang changed its location and started this drug factory in Bilhaur area. Late Saturday night, a joint team of Crime Branch and local police raided and busted this gang. Four accused have been arrested along with recovery of thousand liters of stolen oil near Lalpur village of Bilhaur.

ACP Crime Branch Sumit Sudhakar said that with the help of information received from manual informers and the surveillance team, continuous diesel-petrol theft activities were being detected in Bilhaur. Joint action was taken on this with ACP Manjay Singh. During the raid, about 800 liters of diesel and 200 liters of petrol were recovered in two tankers. Interrogation of the arrested accused is continuing. Preliminary investigation has revealed that all the accused are residents of nearby areas and were involved in this illegal business for a long time. Police are currently collecting information about the supply chain and other associates, soon the entire gang network will be exposed.
