Difficult to breathe in Delhi-NCR! AQI reaches ‘very poor’ category, Mundka becomes the most polluted area, immediate caution necessary

Delhi-NCR is in the grip of pollution these days, where the Air Quality Index (AQI) has been recorded in the ‘very poor’ category. It has become difficult for people to breathe due to smoke all around. Most of the areas are in the red and orange zones of pollution. Here AQI remains between 200 to 366. The government is making all efforts at its level to prevent pollution, but no significant effect is visible.

According to Sameer App, Delhi’s overall AQI-306 has been recorded at 6 am on Sunday, which falls in the very poor category of pollution. Same is the condition of other areas of NCR like Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram and Greater Noida. Here too pollution has increased the concern of the people. There does not seem to be any major improvement in the pollution situation for the last two months. People are struggling with many types of health problems.

Mundka’s AQI is highest

There are 40 active AQI monitoring centers in Delhi. On Sunday, 28 centers are in the red zone of pollution. Here AQI has been recorded beyond 300. The highest AQI-366 has been recorded in Mundka. Due to this, problems like irritation in eyes, difficulty in breathing and sore throat have increased. Along with this, the harshness of winter has also started troubling the people of Delhi. The effect of snowfall in the upper parts of the mountains is visible in Delhi. Today it will be cloudy throughout the day in most parts. During this period, the maximum temperature is likely to be 24 and the minimum temperature is likely to be 9 degrees Celsius.
