Doctors XI beat Teachers XI by 4 wickets

Today, in the first match of the Road Safety Sadbhavna Cup being played under the aegis of Aaradhya Shree Foundation, Doctors XI defeated Teachers XI Ambedkar Nagar by 4 wickets. In the first match of Road Safety Sadbhavana Cup this morning, the captain of Teachers XI won the toss and decided to bat first.

In front of Doctor XI’s controlled economical bowling, none of their batsmen could stay on the pitch for long, meanwhile wickets kept falling at regular intervals and the entire team was out for 90 runs in 14.1 overs. Opener batsman Chanderpal contributed the maximum 34 runs while handling one end while Devansh and Kamlesh scored 13, 11 runs respectively. For Teachers XI, Dr. Utkarsh Singh bowled brilliantly and took 4 wickets, Dr. Vimal and Dr. Amod took 2-2 wickets. In reply, Dr. XI’s opener batsmen Dr. Amod and Dr. Chandrabhan made a strong start and made a valuable partnership of 64 runs for the first wicket. Dr. Amod contributed 36 runs and Dr. Chandrabhan contributed 32 runs. Devansh and Kamlesh of Teachers XI took 2 wickets each. Doctors XI team is now 1-0 ahead in the 3 matches played under the Road Safety Goodwill Cup at VCA Ground, Akbarpur.

Ajay Srivastava, Dr. SM Bakir, Shashibhushan Pandey and scorers Sandeep, Vijay played the role of umpire and commentator in the match. On this occasion, all the sports lovers including Dr. Pramod Yadav, Dr. GD Verma, Dr. Pravesh Verma, Vivek Mani Singh, Vishal Singh Yadav, Jitendra, Amit, Nandan, Anoop were present.
