He said that whenever he talks to Trump, the first thing the President asks is, “How is my friend Prime Minister Modi?” Gore said that the India-US partnership has now become the basis of a ‘new global partnership’ and both the countries are moving forward rapidly in trade, investment, defense and technology.
Gore claimed that the US Embassy in India ranked first in the world in bringing new investments worth $20.5 billion to America this year. He also said that work is underway on an interim trade deal between the two countries, which can be signed in the coming weeks.
