Drone attack on kindergarten in South Sudan: more than 50 people killed Gujarati
At least 50 people are reported to have been killed in a drone strike targeting a kindergarten in the Kalogi area of South Kordofan, South Sudan. This attack is believed to have been carried out by Sudan’s paramilitary forces.
Human rights group Emergency Lawyers has strongly condemned this attack. The group has seriously accused the Rapid Support Forces of violating international humanitarian law by targeting civilians and medical workers.
There is a possibility of the death toll increasing further due to the communication system being closed in the region. This latest attack reflects increasing violence and human rights violations against civilians amid the ongoing conflict in Sudan.
