Farmer dies in bee attack in Bijnor, wife hospitalized


Bijnor. A swarm of bees attacked a husband and wife in Uttar Pradesh’s Bijnor district. In which a 45-year-old man (husband) died while his 40-year-old wife is undergoing treatment at the district hospital. This incident is of Hargaon Chandan village of Nagina police station area.

According to information, Udesh and his wife Lakshmi were peeling sugarcane in their field. Meanwhile, a swarm of bees attacked him. On the noise of the couple, the villagers working nearby reached the spot and rescued them. After which both were admitted to Primary Health Center Nagina for treatment. Where the doctors declared Udesh dead. While Lakshmi’s treatment is going on.

Dr. Naveen Kumar, in-charge of Nagina Primary Health Center, said on Saturday that due to bee stings, the person had more swelling on the throat and mouth, due to which he was not able to breathe. Because of this he died. While the condition of the woman remains stable.
