Kansas City police said the shooting happened around 4 a.m. Saturday, about 10 minutes from the England team’s base camp, with the England team hotel close to the scene. However, the England team was yet to arrive in Kansas City for the FIFA World Cup 2026. When the incident happened in Kansas City, the England team was training for the World Cup in Palm Beach, Florida. The England team will arrive in Kansas City on June 13.

9 people injured in firing

According to a captain with the Kansas City Police Department, they rushed to the scene when they heard the gunshots. On reaching there, they found a stampede. Three women who were injured in this incident were admitted to the hospital. The number of injured in the stampede quickly rose to nine. After that, they have been admitted to nearby hospitals. According to the police, no arrests have been made at this time, but the scene is being patrolled.
