Keeping the future of vehicles in mind, Bajaj is preparing to launch many new products. In fact, in March, Bajaj had filed two applications named Pulsar Allen and Pulsar Elegance. At the same time, another name ‘Bajaj Blade’ has surfaced, which was filed in March. So far it has not been confirmed whether the company will launch a bike or scooter or an electric vehicle under the name Bajaj Blade.
Introduced at the 2006 Auto Expo
But it can be said that Bajaj’s primary focus will be its Pulsar motorcycles and electric two-wheelers. While the company is gearing up to upgrade its Pulsar range and introduce a few new models, Bajaj’s new electric scooter is also in the news. But the Bajaj Blade fits the company’s EV range. You may recall that the company had showcased a 125cc scooter at the 2006 Auto Expo, which was named Bajaj Blade. This raises the possibility that the Bajaj Blade could be a modern incarnation of the earlier Blade scooter.
Maybe electric bike
A few days ago, the company had informed that the new electric two-wheeler would be launched in the market under the Chetak brand. Hence, the chances of Bajaj Blade being an electric vehicle are slimmed down, and the chances of launching a commuter bike with this new name increase. Let us tell you, at present, the company’s lineup consists of CT100 and Platina affordable bikes, which are performing well in terms of sales.
Price will be higher
In terms of style and performance, the Bajaj Blade Electric Scooter can be equipped with a bigger battery pack and a higher range motor. This means that its price will be more than Chetak. Which is already one of the most expensive electric two wheelers in the country. Let us inform that the ex-showroom price of Chetak in Delhi is currently Rs 1.48 lakh. Well, we are still waiting for the unveiling of the Bajaj Blade, to see if the name gets approved or not.
