Change in LPG price

Oil marketing companies change the prices of LPG Cylinder on the first of every month. In such a situation, the new price of LPG can be released from 6 am on October 1, 2024. Talking about the last few months, many changes have been seen in the prices of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder, whereas no change has been seen in the price of 14 kg non-commercial i.e. domestic gas cylinder. In such a situation, now it remains to be seen whether there will be any change in the prices of commercial cylinders on October 1 or will there be some change in the prices of domestic gas cylinders too?

From September 1, 2024, the price of 19 kg LPG cylinder in the capital Delhi had increased from Rs 1652.50 to Rs 1691.50. Whereas in Kolkata it increased from Rs 1764.50 to Rs 1802.50, in Mumbai from Rs 1605 to Rs 1644 and in Chennai from Rs 1817 to Rs 1855. This time, a reduction in the prices of domestic gas cylinders is expected before Diwali. This will be known only on 1st October.

Change in rates of ATF and CNG-PNG

New prices of ATF (Aviation Turbine Fuel) and CNG-PNG can be released on 1st October 2024. Last month, ATF prices saw a decline as its price in Delhi dropped to Rs 93,480.22 per kilolitre. Similarly, rates were also reduced in Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai.

Changes in Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana

According to the new rules related to Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, only legal guardians of daughters will be able to operate the account. If the account is opened by any other person, it has to be transferred to the natural parents or legal guardian, otherwise the account can be closed.

Rules related to PPF account

Three new rules related to PPF account will come into effect from October 1. In this, action will be taken against those having more than one account and interest will be paid on irregular accounts of minors only till they turn 18 years of age.
