Flood relief work continues in Udhwa block, readiness of district administration and distribution of relief material.

Sahebganj, Jharkhand:- The flood situation is becoming serious in Udhwa block of Sahibganj district, where the water level of river Ganga has reached 28.41 metres, which is above the danger mark. Many villages have been affected due to the floods, and relief operations are being carried out on a war footing by the district administration in these areas.

Administration's activation and relief work:-

Flood relief operations are being led by Block Development Officer (BDO) Vishal Kumar Pandey, who is engaged in relief operations despite adverse weather and incessant rains. The district administration is continuously distributing relief material along with taking the citizens living in flood affected areas to safe places.

Facilities like food, medical services, clean drinking water, toilets and animal fodder are being provided in the flood relief camps run by the administration. Under the leadership of Vishal Kumar Pandey, regular inspection of the affected areas is being done in Udhwa block, and the relief of flood victims is being done. Assistance is being ensured. Despite the rains, there has been no let-up in flood relief operations in Udhwa block, and the administration is ensuring that all necessary assistance is available to the affected people.
