Melbourne, Former Australian Test opener Colin McDonald died at the age of 92.
Australia’s 191st Test cricketer McDonald played 47 Test matches for the country. He was counted among the great openers of Australia.

Macdonald made his Test debut with Gaby at 152 against West Indies alongside Richie Benyo and George Thomas.
He scored 3,107 Test runs at an average of 39.32, including five centuries.
Cricket Australia (CA) chairman Irl Eddings said in a statement, Colin will always be counted as the greatest player of Victoria and Australian cricket. He was fearless against fast bowlers and batted brilliantly against spinners. He also batted brilliantly in Australia and on tours of England, the Caribbean, South Africa, India and Pakistan.
