Complete UP cross in just 8 hours. Ganga Expressway is starting. There will be a speed limit of 120 KM
uThe work of Ganga Expressway is going on in full swing in Uttar Pradesh. This expressway is being built between Meerut to Prayagraj, whose length is 594 km.
This expressway will pass through a total of 12 districts of UP.
Through this, the distance from Meerut to Prayagraj can be covered in just 8 hours. A target has been set by the Yogi government to complete this expressway before the Kumbh Mela to be held in 2025.
Ganga Expressway will start from Meerut and will end at Prayagraj via Hapur, Bulandshahr, Amroha, Sambhal, Badaun, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Unnao, Rae Bareli, Pratapgarh.
A bridge will also be built on this expressway over two rivers Ganga and Ramganga. Apart from this, a 3.5 km airstrip will be made in Shahjahanpur for the landing and take-off of fighter planes of the Indian Air Force on this expressway.
Not only this, 18 flyovers and 8 road overbridges will be constructed on this bridge. The rural areas of UP will be greatly benefited by the construction of Ganga Expressway. Under this, the villages situated on the banks of the Ganges will be connected to the cities.
This will also benefit people including industrial development. The maximum speed on this expressway has been fixed at 120 KM/h. Its two main toll plazas will be in Meerut and Prayagraj.
