Ingredients to make Paneer Sandwich
Bread slices – 6
Grated cheese – 1/2 cup
Onion finely chopped – 1
Tomato finely chopped – 1
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1/4 tsp
Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
Chaat masala – 1 tsp
Cumin – 1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder – a pinch
butter
Coriander leaves – 1 tablespoon
Oil – 1 tsp
Salt – as per taste
How to make Paneer Sandwich
To make Paneer Sandwich, first of all we will prepare the stuffing. First take a pan and add oil to it and heat it on low flame. When the oil becomes hot, add cumin seeds to it. When the cumin seeds start crackling, add finely chopped onions to it and fry it on medium flame.

When the color of onion starts turning golden, add ginger-garlic paste to it and let it cook for about 1 minute. After this, add finely chopped tomatoes, red chili powder, garam masala, turmeric, chaat masala and salt as per taste and mix everything well. Cook this mixture for about 2 minutes. When the tomatoes become soft and cooked well, mash them.
After this, reduce the flame of the gas and add grated cheese to the onion-tomato mixture and mix well. Now drain the water while cooking. After this, add coriander leaves and mix and turn off the gas.
Now take a nonstick pan/griddle and keep it on the gas on low flame to heat. Meanwhile, take a bread slice and spread the cheese mixture on its upper part. After this, place another bread on top of the stuffing and cover it well. Now grease the pan with ghee or butter and place bread with stuffing in it and cook on medium flame until it turns golden.
After this, apply butter/ghee on the upper part of the bread and turn it and fry it till it turns golden. In this way, turn the sandwich from both the sides and cook until it becomes golden. After this, take the sandwich on a plate and cut it diagonally from the middle. Similarly, prepare the rest of the sandwiches with the help of bread and stuffing. Now delicious Paneer Sandwich is ready for breakfast. Serve them hot with tomato sauce or chutney.
