The government has given relief from the ever increasing cylinder prices. This relief has been extended not to the common people, but to small shopkeepers and hotel owners. The prices of LPG cylinders have been cut by the government petroleum companies by Rs 45.50 this month. This reduction has been made only in 19 kg commercial cylinders. At the same time, there has been no change in the price of 14.2 kg domestic cylinder
. The new rates of 19 kg commercial cylinders have come into effect from May 1. Last month, the price of domestic LPG cylinder was cut by Rs 10. Today, the price of LPG cylinder in Delhi is Rs 809. The current price of LPG cylinder in Delhi is Rs 809. Whereas in January this year, the price of LPG cylinder was Rs 694, which was increased to Rs 719 per cylinder in February. After this, on February 15, the price increased to Rs 769. On 25 February, the price of LPG cylinder was reduced to Rs 794. At the same time, the price of LPG cylinder was raised to Rs 819 in March.
Prices are changing every month from December 2020
Earlier, there was no change in domestic gas prices in the month of December last year. At that time the price of LPG cylinder in Delhi was Rs 694. After this, domestic gas prices have risen continuously. However, last month surely the general public got a relief of 10 rupees. This month too, the oil companies were expected to cut prices again, but this month it has not happened.
