Saharanpur. The doctor who prepared the fake medical report of the woman involved in the fake incident of acid attack, B.D. Sharma was arrested today by police station Janakpuri. Where he was produced in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, from where he was sent to jail in judicial custody.
On the instructions of Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Vipin Tada, BD Sharma, a doctor of the district hospital who was wanted in the fake acid attack incident, has been arrested as part of the campaign to nab the wanted criminals.
It may be noted that a woman, a resident of Sadak Dudhli village of Thana Janakpuri area, had prepared a medical report accusing her in-laws of throwing acid, in which the woman’s report was found to be fake. After investigation, on the instructions of City Superintendent of Police Abhimanyu Manglik, a case was registered against Farzand, Dr. BD Sharma, a resident of Chakwali village of Rampur in police station Janakpuri, and the woman who made the allegations also accepted that acid was poured on her hands. In this case, a report was lodged against her husband and in-laws. An advocate and his scribe, a resident of village Ghana Khandi, were also involved in this conspiracy. In this case, the police has already sent the accused Farzand, advocate Tausif and his scribe to jail and the woman’s relative Murad Hussain has also been sent to jail and today the police arrested the accused government doctor BD Sharma and sent him to jail.
Sub-Inspector Dharmendra Kumar, Head Constable Vikas Kumar, Constable Ankit were included in the police team that arrested the accused doctor.
