Lucknow, 7 December. Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) President Mayawati said on Sunday that Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar dedicated his life to provide social justice and rights to crores of poor, Dalits, exploited and deprived. His missionary ideas are a source of inspiration for the Bahujan Samaj.
While thanking the supporters and workers for the programs organized across the country on the Mahaparinirvan Day (6th December) of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, he expressed concern over the present circumstances and said that the country is today facing serious crises like inflation, unemployment, poverty, air pollution, falling value of rupee and economic instability.
From the chaos in airlines’ operations to the everyday problems of common people, there is an atmosphere of concern everywhere. In such a situation, the government should show seriousness towards properly implementing Baba Saheb’s humanitarian and welfare constitution, only then the country will be able to get rid of these problems.
Mayawati said that Baba Saheb fought for the interests of the underprivileged and the common people throughout his life and provided them rights through the Constitution. Therefore, it is extremely important to follow the path shown by him and implement his policies honestly. Thanking all the supporters and devotees, he said that Baba Saheb’s mission will be completed only when the backward, Dalit and deprived classes get real justice, security and equal opportunities.
