A grand road show will be organized in the country and abroad for Maha Kumbh 2025, decision taken in the Council of Ministers meeting.
Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to organize a grand road show in the country and abroad for Mahakumbh-2025. Many important proposals have been approved in the meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Friday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. In these, the government has approved the proposal to organize grand road shows for Maha Kumbh-2025 in all the big cities of the country and abroad.
Apart from this, the way has also been cleared for purchase of 220 vehicles for Mahakumbh. Let us tell you that a grand Mahakumbh is being organized in Prayagraj from 13 January to 26 February. The Uttar Pradesh government is engaged in mission mode to make this biggest festival of Sanatan Dharma grand. Cabinet Minister AK Sharma told reporters at Lok Bhavan on Friday that a grand Mahakumbh is being organized in Prayagraj from January 13 to February 26.
Minister Sharma said that it was suggested by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to propagate India's Sanatan culture in many countries in India and outside India. Under this, road shows will be organized under the leadership of ministers in various big cities of the country and also in foreign countries. Sharma said that within India, road shows will be organized in cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Guwahati, Dehradun, Bhopal, Chandigarh and Patna.
Road shows will be organized abroad in Nepal, Thailand, Indonesia and Mauritius as well as other countries. The Urban Development Department will also bear the expenses of the road show. He told that Rs 20 to 25 lakh will be spent on road shows in each city. Federation of Indian Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will be made partners in this road show. Minister AK Sharma said that the government has decided to purchase 220 vehicles for Mahakumbh. Rs 27.48 crore will be spent for this. Of these, 40 Mahindra Bolero Neo, 160 Bolero B6 BSVI and 20 buses will be purchased.
