Mumbai Popular rapper MC Stan recounts his journey in the music industry and how he made a name for himself in showbiz.

Hailing from Pune, Maharashtra, music became her first love after listening to MC Stan Qawwali and she released her first single ‘Vataa’ in 2018, after that there was no looking back.

He said that: Since childhood, I was used to listening to Qawwali as my father used to play them all the time. I didn’t even know what kind of music was being made abroad. Then I learned about rap. The culture where I heard people speak English words very fast and somewhere I connected with it and I loved it.

The ‘Bigg Se Boss 16’ winner, who is known for his unique dressing style and hairdo, further explained how he related to rap and thought of adding Hindi to rap music and making it popular in the country.

“I really relate to it, because rap grew out of the struggle to come out of poverty,” he said. So I thought of taking it in my mother tongue Hindi and portraying my values ​​through rap.

MC Stan appeared on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ along with famous internet personalities Bhuvan Bam, Harsh Gujral and Dolly Singh. During the show, MC Stan talked about one of his popular compositions ‘Khuja Mat’ and what inspired him to compose the song.

He shared: There was no such inspiration behind the song. My friend and I were having a discussion about rapping. They dis each other like a competition, so I wrote this rap as a dis to them.
