After just 7 days, he was discharged from the hospital. He is 90 years old and was suffering from heart related disease, which was also treated recently. This fatal disease was treated without open surgery. In such a situation, now actor and son-in-law Sharman Joshi has shared the update related to his health.

Actually, Prem Chopra’s son-in-law and actor Sharman Joshi had shared the post on Instagram, in which he wrote a long caption. According to him, Prem Chopra was suffering from severe aortic stenosis. For this, his TAVI (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation) procedure was done. In this procedure, the aortic valve of the heart was repaired without open surgery. In such a situation, now son-in-law and actor Sharman Joshi told that Prem Chopra is now fine and has returned home from the hospital.

Giving an update on the health of father-in-law Prem Chopra, Sharman Joshi wrote on Instagram that on behalf of his family, he has expressed his wholehearted gratitude to heart specialist Dr. Nitin Gokhale and interventional cardiologist Dr. Ravinder Singh Rao. Praising him, he said that Dr. treated Prem Chopra well. His father-in-law was diagnosed with severe aortic stenosis and Dr. Rao successfully replaced the valve with a TAVI procedure without open heart surgery. The actor told that the veteran actor has returned home and is now feeling better.

However, if we talk about aortic stenosis, it is a heart condition in which the aortic valve becomes thin. The actor started acting in the year 1962 through the film ‘Vidya’ and has been working in films for almost 6 decades. Today he is seen working even at the age of 90. He was last seen in the TV series ‘Showtime’ in the year 2024 and before that in the film ‘Animal’.
