‘How many Santosh Verma will you kill?’ After the support of UP MP Chandrashekhar Azad Ravan, IAS reiterated “Santosh Verma will emerge from every house, how many will you burn”

There has been a new twist in the controversy that arose after the statement given by IAS officer Santosh Verma regarding the daughters of Brahmin community. Bhim Army Party chief and Uttar Pradesh MP Chandrashekhar Azad alias Ravan has come out in his support. He said in a meeting two days ago that those who are standing against Santosh Verma, how much harm will they cause to Santosh Verma. Tomorrow Santosh Verma will emerge from every house.

After this, now Santosh Verma has reacted to Chandrashekhar Ravan’s statement. He said, ‘When Santosh Verma will emerge from every house, you will not have enough power to burn Santosh Verma. Let us tell you that in a public program, Santosh Verma had said that reservation should continue until “the Brahmin donates his daughter to my son”. After this video went viral, the Brahmin community had demanded FIR, suspension and arrest against Verma.

Controversial statement of Santosh Verma

After the objectionable remarks made by Madhya Pradesh IAS Santosh Verma on the daughters of Brahmin community, the protest against him continues. Speaking on the reservation policy in the speech given after being elected state president in the state level meeting of the Scheduled Caste-Tribe Officers-Employees Association in Bhopal, he had said that “Only one person in the family should get reservation… unless a Brahmin donates his daughter to my son.” After this statement the Brahmin community united and stood against him. Brahmin organizations termed it as a “gross insult to daughters and a casteist statement” and demanded immediate dismissal, FIR and filing of case. At the same time, BJP leaders also condemned his statement by calling it objectionable. After the controversy escalated, the General Administration Department has issued a show-cause notice to Santosh Verma and sought his reply.

Chandrashekhar Ravan in favor of IAS came forward

Now there has been another twist in this matter. Chandrashekhar Azad alias Ravan, MP from Nagina, Uttar Pradesh and chief of Bhim Army, said in a meeting that he is keeping an eye on this development in Madhya Pradesh. He said, “Leaders of all the parties are saying that they will do this to Santosh Verma, they will do that. What will you do to how many Santosh Verma? Tomorrow, Santosh Verma will emerge from every house, Damodar Mandal will emerge, Ravindra Bhati will emerge.” In this way, Chandrashekhar Ravan has now openly come out in favor of Santosh Verma.

Responding to this statement of Santosh Verma, Chandrashekhar Ravan, a prominent leader of the society, has said that “How many Santosh Verma will you kill, how many Santosh Verma will you burn, how many Santosh Verma will you swallow. Now Santosh Verma will emerge from every house”. He said that when Santosh Verma will emerge from every house, then you will not have enough power to burn every Santosh Verma.
